- Description
- The FAA has a requirement to provide general landscaping and grounds = keeping services at the Potomac Consolidated TRACON in Warrenton. VA. Serv= ices are expected to begin on/or about May 12, 2003. The site has approxim= ately thirty acres of grounds to be maintained. This is a Best Value Procu= rement set-aside for Small Business in NAICS Code 561730. Basic for award= will be past performance, delivery schedule, financial suitability and pri= ce. Companies having a home office within 100 miles of the site, at least = five years of experience in maintaining grounds of similar size and complex= ity and receive a score of 80% will be given consideration. The Government= is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price i= n order to select the greatest value or =E2=80=9CBest Buy=E2=80=9D, therefo= re, award may be made to other than the lowest price offered. The contract= or and all employees of the contract will be subject to a Background Invest= igation by the FAA Security Division. Contractors interested in receiving = a copy of the Screening Information Request (SIR) may fax over a request to= Nadene Fontano at 718-995-5685. The request must be transmitted on compan= y letterhead so that the Government may ascertain business address. Includ= e company prospectus listing Past Performance on similar contracts. The re= quest must be received by April 18, 2003, 2:00 P.M. There is a short turna= round on this project and as such only five copies of the SIR is available.= The first five companies, validated by fax date and time, certified as Sm= all Business, within the area of consideration and providing information re= quested herein will be provided a copy by Federal Express. There will be a= mandatory walk-thru of the site. Only those companies who receive the SIR= will be permitted at the site visit.
