Description

The solicitation for this project will be available to review and print on the FedBizOpps web site in approximately 15 days. The Powerhouse Picnic Area Improvement Project consists of construction of a 75-person sheltered group site, 2 drinking water wells with hand-pumps, four picnic sites, an 18' x 5' pedestrian foot bridge. Asphalt paving of an existing 15,000 square foot parking area and its one-lane access road, 2 new pullouts, minor expansion of existing road and repair of existing pavement surface. Construction of all paths leading from parking to new picnic sites. The project location: Take State Highway 227 out of Elko towards the town of Lamoille. Go about 20 miles and turn right on Lamoille Canyon Road (just before the town of Lamoille). The turnoff to Powerhouse Picnic Area is on the right about 2 miles up the road, just before the first crossing of Lamoille Creek at the mouth of the canyon. Est. price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Est. start date is 08/04/03 with 60 calendar days for completion. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
