- Description
- O'Brien Fire Road Restoration. IFB R1-14-03-017. Issue 5/1/2003 Bid Opening 6/3/2003. The Kootenai National Forest, Three Rivers Ranger District is soliciting bid for road reconstruction. This project consists of two items or areas of work. Item 1 consists of: roadbed reconditioning, road surface drainage improvement, small culvert replacements plus new installations, two larger culvert installations, riprap armoring, and aggregate placement on 1.88 miles of native surface road. Item 2 consists of road reconditioning, surface drainage improvement including installation of drainage dips and surface water deflectors, installation of small culverts, unsuitable excavation removal, and riprap armoring. Estimated start work date is July 1, 2003 with a completion date of October 31, 2003. Not set aside for small business.
