- Description
- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following upgrade and maintenance: (1) Upgrade Synplify Pro from full vendor nodelocked to full vendor floating. (2) Annual maintenance for Synplify Pro All Vendor Floating license. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Synplicity, Inc., as they are the originator of this product and the only provider of these items. The Authority is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their ability to fill the line items in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on April 26, 2003. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
