- The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair,in Newport News, Va intends to awad a purchase order / contract to EMS Ice, Inc., 513 Bonsack Court in Chesapeake, Va 23322 for ventilation system microbial contamination remediation using a patiented cryogenic cleaning process. This purchase will be awarded under simlified acquisition procedures and other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The award will be made by April 11,2003. This notice is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available. Telephone, fax, or E-mail request will not be honored. No contract will beawarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this purchase based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competitio n would be advantageous to the Government in the future.
