- NA The United States Army Tank- Automative and Armaments Command located in Rock Island Illinois intends to award a sole source purchase order to RACOM Corporation, 201 W. State St., Marshalltown, IA, for renewal of monthly rental and on-call maintenance of the following equipment: EDACS trunked radio system and 100 police radios at Rock Island Arsenal. On-call maintenance shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Response time after notification to the contractor that a service call is required is a maximum of 20 minutes. Other interested firms able to meet these requirements are invited to submit response within 2 working days after appearance of this notice but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to TACOM-RI, 1 Rock Islan d Arsenal, ATTN: AMSTA-AQ-ARI-B/Roxanne Little; Rock Island, IL 61299-6000 or by email to Roxanne Little at: roxanne.little@us.army.mil Responses must include at a minimum how the contractor proposes to meet the requirements set forth herein. Writte n response must include firm fixed pricing for the rental portion and a hourly rate for the on-call maintenance. and technical information sufficient to enable the Government to determine if a vendor can meet the Government's needs. No contract award will be made on the basis of offers/proposals received in response to this notice. If no affirmative responses are received clearly demonstrating a vendor?s ability to meet the Government?s need within 2 working days after publication of this notice a sole source purchase order shall be issued to RACOM Corporatation. All contractors who provide goods and services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
