- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences solicits proposals on a restricted basis from small businesses primarily for two efforts. (1) Under literature search and evaluation, the contractor shall conduct comprehensive literature searches for chemical, biological, or physical substances or classes of substances for consideration by the National Toxicology Program for toxicological testing, and shall prepare brief summaries of those literature searches. (2) Under preparation of toxicological summary reports, the contractor shall review and evaluate the data and information gathered in the literature searches, summarize the material relevant to the individual substance, and prepare a comprehensive written review (Toxicological Summary) of information on production levels, uses, pertinent regulations, health and environmental effects, toxicological effects, and relevant structure-activity relationships for each substance. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is late April. The anticipated receipt date for proposals is mid June.
