- This is the second of two Sources Sought Notices requesting information needed by the Government prior to release of any potential solicitation. Please read this entire synopsis. OFFERORS MUST RESPOND TO THE QUESTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS. This is NOT a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking sources capable of providing Clerical Support Services for eight locations throughout the State of Georgia. Currently the work is being performed by the Government personnel. It is intended to perform a cost comparison, pursuant to OMB Circular A-76, in conjunction with all other applicable USDA and Government acquisition regulations. The requirement will fall under the NAICS Code 561110. If you are interested in competing for this requirement, please indicate your interest by sending an 3-mail (only) to Carolyn Adams at carolyn.adams@ga.usda.gov NO LATER THAN APRIL 26, 2003. All valid e-mail responses from prospective offers must provide the return e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number and facsimile number in the body of the response. Please include a brief description of your qualifications and capacity to perform this work. Responses without the aforementioned information will not be recognized as valid. In addition, to assist in the planning of acquisition strategy, please respond to the following questions: (1) For North American Indusry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561110, is your business a large or small business? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small emergent business, a small disadvantaged business, a veteran-owned small business or a service-disabled veteran-owned small business? (3) If disadvantaged business, specify under which disadvantaged group, whether your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. (4) Is your firm a certified Hubzone small business? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned small business? ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST USE E-MAIL TO RESPOND TO THIS SYNOPSIS. TELEPHONE AND FACSIMILE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The solicitaiton(s) will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities site when releases. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is anticipated that solicitaiton(s) may be released in May 2003. It is recommended that you respond to this notice, including all of the information above. It is the responder's responsibility to provide an e-mail address that is current and valid through the time of notification. Any expected or actual changes to this address should immediately be sent via e-mail to the Contracting Officer. The Government is not responsible for inability to deliver e-mail.
