- Description
- The purpose of this Solicitation is to obtain Lookout Services for both the Flag Point Lookout on the Barlow Ranger District and the Clear Lake Lookout on the Hood River Ranger District of the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. The work consists of detecting and reporting incidences of smoke and fire within and adjacent to the Mt. Hood National Forest. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: Monitor and forward radio messages; collect, record, and report daily fire weather observations and special weather readings. The Lookout Services shall be furnished seven days a week, starting June 1, 2003, through October 15, 2003, and two Option Years: 2004 and 2005.
