- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration, (FDA) will compete under the terms of OMB Circular No. A-76, a Contractor versus Government Performance Study to determine if the in-house Real Property and Facilities Management Services should be converted to a commercial service. The requirement is for managing and operating FDA?s real property and facilities functions, nationwide. Services are currently performed at the Office of the Commissioner/Office of Facilities, Acquisitions, and Central Services in Rockville, MD. Services include space acquisition services, renovation support services, facility management services of leased, as well as owned and delegated facilities, space planning and design services, administrative services, and systems services. It is anticipated that if a contract is awarded, it will reflect a base period of one year, with four one-year option periods. A fixed price/award fee type contract is anticipated. The RFP will only be available on the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov/. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the RFP and all attachments. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web page for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. The RFP should be available for downloading on or about fifteen (15) days after the publication of this announcement. The solicitation will contain certain minimum/mandatory requirements that firms must meet.
