Description

Change the following in the previous announcement to read the following: The Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific proposes to contract for a contractor to procure and install the automated boiler water chemistry monitoring control system, on the USCGC SHERMAN at Coast Guard, Alameda, CA and USCGC CHASE at 2680 Woden Street, San Diego, CA. The performance period for the USCGC SHERMAN starts 05 May 2003 and ends 06 June 2003 and the USCGC CHASE starts 02 June 2003 and ends 04 July 2003. All other information on the previous announcement remain unchanged. Approximately 15 days after this notice, an (RFP) request for proposal will be issued, in accordance with the SBCDP. For Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts, loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. Internet address: http://osdbuweb.dot.gov. The solicitation and specification package will be available via electronic means on the FEDBizOpps website at www.eps.gov. For further information concerning the acquisition, contract the contracting Officer listed above.
