- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for implementation of various security upgrades at its Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center, 26 W. Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio. Work will include expansion of the main entrance plaza and fortification with anti-ram bollards; installation of a new guard house and barrier gates to the east of the main entrance plaza; installation of new barrier gates at the north and south parking lot entrances as well as at the access drive to the north loading dock; and replacement of parking lot lighting. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The anticipated contract performance period is six months after receipt of the notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The solicitation will be released through the internet on EPA's home page at www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd/. Prospective offerors can download the Invitation for Bids and related documents from this website on or about April 24, 2003. This is an unrestricted acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
