- NA J--US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is soliciliting to replace the S/V Linthicum's existing engines and Transmissions. It is the intent of the work to replace the S/V Linthicum?s existing engines and transmissions with an in-line 6-cylinder t urbocharged, aftercooled marine diesel type in current production. Engines having a range of 375-430 hp and to fit within the existing engine room with minimal amount of modifications. Transmissions to be of a type currently in production and matched to p roduce the optimal performance with engine, existing two-inch Aquamet 22 shafts and 30X26 3 blade propellers and tunnel drive.
