Description

NA The US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 from Eckel Industries, Inc., Acoustic Division, 155 Fawcett Street, Cambridge, MA 02138 for the upgrade and expansion of an Anechoic Chamber currently owned by ARL in accordance with the Statement of Work to be included in the RFQ. The existing 10' (L) X 10' (W) X 9'8 (H) chamber is to be expanded to 20' (L) X 20' (W) X 9'8 (H). This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Ac quisition Procedures (SAP). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested pers ons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before the response date indicated in this announc ement will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered s olely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be honored.
