Description

NA The United States Army intends to procure 5,000 C/VAMs on a sole source basis from Leica Technologies, Inc., 107 North King St., Leesburg, Virginia. The C/VAM is a self-contained environmentally sealed module within the AN/PVS-6 Mini Eyesafe Laser Infrare d Observation Set (MELIOS). The C/VAM provides azimuth readings and vertical angle measurements. It measures the horizontal component of the earth's magnetic field (azimuth) with respect to magnetic north and the axis of the MELIOS, adjusts the heading f or declination, and provides this information to the MELIOS. The total estimated price of the proposed procurement is $15,000,000.00. This action will be a five year firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with Leica Technologie s, Inc. Also, please see Note 26.
