NA DESC: 9340-01-182-5681, Part Number 9338429, The item to procure is a Window, Observation material is MIL-G-174, optical, class 1, type ZKN-7 (508612), grade B MIL SPEC single material response. Overall length = 7.740 in nominal, overall thickness = .900 in nominal. Fogging/clouding retardant. Special features, integral heating element. Requirements are 250 each, Window, Observation. FOB is destination. For use on the M1A1 Tank. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option for two years. T his solicitation is restricted to Metavac LLC and Edmund Industrial Optics. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. Estimated issue date is 23 Apr 03. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
