- SYNOPSIS: The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, manpower, and expertise to perform repair work and repainting of a 500,000 gallon water storage tank located at the Federal Correctional Institution in Loretto, Pennsylvania. Contract shall also include construction of building. Project includes abatement of lead based paints. The performance period will be 150 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 36.204 the magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. THE PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. Security investigation / clearances are required. The solicitation will be available on or after May 8, 2003, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government?s best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Contractors may register on the ?Interest Vendor List? supported by the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237110.
