- Furnish and deliver to the Western Area Power Administration (also referred to as Western, WAPA and the Government) the following described items, all complete in accordance with WAPA ES 1.1 Specific and General Specifications, Parts 1 and 2. Item No. Description Quantity Unit Unit Price Amount GROUP I @ 001 Power transformer, 3-phase, 230-12.47-kV, 10 MVA, complete in accordance with the Specifications for Phoenix Substation, Contractor shall unload the transformer (Item 001) to a pad or cribbing as directed by Western, delivery of Item 001 transformer shall be no sooner than 1/1/04 and no later than 2/5/04 1 EA $ ___________ 002 Oil for transformer, for Item 001 above, in accordance with Specifications Part 2, paragraph 1.1.15 LS $ ___________ 003 Tools and appliances, spare parts as required by Specifications Part 2, paragraphs 1.1.18 and 1.1.20 LS $ ___________ 004 Additional 2-year warranty LS $ ___________ Services of Erecting Engineer 005 Straight-time services 80 HR* $ __________ $ ___________ 006 Extra-time services 10 HR* $ __________ $ ___________ 007 Trip to job site 1 round trip** EA $ ___________ + 008 Optional Item Gas-in-oil monitor, to be installed in accordance with Specifications Part 2, paragraph 1.1.11, subparagraph 19 1 EA $ ___________ # 009 Optional Item Wood cribbing, to be provided in accordance with Specifications Part 1, paragraph 15 LS $ ___________ ++ 010 Optional Item Transformer to be completely assembled, oil processed and oil filled into the transformer, such that the transformer is ready for operation, to be provided in accordance with Specifications Part 1, paragraph 16. Refer to the clause entitled ?Services of Erecting Engineers.? ** Refer to the clause entitled ?Services of Erecting Engineers? should an additional round trip to the job site be necessary. @ Note: The Government will retain (holdback) 10 percent of the dollar value of this line item until all final drawings and data required by Specifications Part 2, paragraph 1.1.21 have been received. + The Government shall have the right to exercise the option of procuring this optional item 60 days after contract award. # The Government shall have the right to exercise the option of procuring this optional item up to the day of delivery of Bid Item 001. ++ The Government shall have the right to exercise the option of procuring this optional item up to 90 after delivery of Bid Item 001. The Government reserves the right to conduct a post award meeting with the equipment manufacturer at the factory site within one month after contract award date. The manufacturer shall have in attendance qualified personnel to discuss contractual and technical/engineering questions. B.2 GROUP AWARD NOTICE Award of contract will be made by one group only. The group consists of equipment item; tools, appliances, optional items (if included in the award or after the award) and spare parts; additional warranty; erecting engineer services; and job site trip.
