- Description: See numbered notes 9, 12 and 26. NSN3040-01-422-9390, Ball Joint. Being bought in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 12342645. Total quantity required is 11,730 each with 4730 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and 7000 each going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130, FOB destination is requested. This item also requires a first article test (FAT). This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date 04/30/03. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the issue date from DSCC-VTCD via one of the following media: internet at the above web cite; facsimile at (614) 692-2998: telephone at (614) 692-2344; e-mail at drawings@dscc.dla.mil or by mail at Defense Supply Center Columbus, ATTN: DSCC-VTCD, PO BOX 2990, Columbus, OH 43216-5000. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number (e.g. YPC/YPE), buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantity of 11,730 each and requests incremental pricing on quantities up to 30,000 each that could be award at time of award. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 260 days including time for the FAT, 170 days if the FAT is waived. A written quotation is required to be returned to the Bid Room DSCC-PBAA.
