Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the following service prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-03-T-0038 is issued as a request for quotations. Install pre-heat coil, Bldg 457. The complete statement of work is available in this solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 238220; the NAICS size standard is $12,000,000; and the SIC Code is 4120. All contractors are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY AWARD DATE will make a contractor ineligible for award. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; DFAR 252.246-7000, Material Inspection and Receiving Report; AFFAR 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Air Force Installations. Wage Determination Number 94-2326, Revision (20) for the Omaha, Nebraska area applies to this acquisition. All contractors are requested to utilize the PRO-Net Program to assist them in obtaining resources to meet their contractual requirements. STATEMENT OF WORK Install new preheat coil and filter rack in the outside air duct serving air handler one, located in mechanical room 134, north area. The coil sized for 2,600 cfm capacity using a 50% propylene glycol solution. Includes connecting to the existing 1-1 ˝” hot water lines in the mechanical room and feed a new heat exchanger in the line pump and coil, sheet metal modifications, controls, insulation, balance, and electrical. Return duct size: 112” X 32”. Damper size: 120” X 72”. The air handler is a Trane Model No: CCDB315NJB, Serial number: K85K76488.
