- Description
- This is notice of the Department of Homeland Security intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Sparton Technology, Inc., 4901 Rockway Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 for the following items. Stock numbers and amount as follows: 40-103190-2 Transmitter Card, 40 units; 40-102191-5 Encoder Card, 40 units; 40-103033 Backplain Processor, 40 units; 40-102172-1 Seismic Sensor Board, 40 units; 40-102168-2 Pids Magnetic Card, 40 units; 20-103096 Card Cage, 40 units; 1403 O-ring, 40 units; 20-103049 Antenna cable, 40 units; 31-103092 Ground Plane, 40 units; 31-103090 Battery holder, 40 units; BNCQ VHF whip antenna, 40 units and 20-103044 Wire Harness, 40 units. The authority for this proposed contract action is FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority cited above. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
