- Description
- The Navy requires the refurbishment of AN/SSQ-77A(CZ) sonobuoys. The refurbishment is to be performed in accordance with a Government Statement of Work. This refurbishment will be procured on a sole-source basis from Sparton Electronics Florida Inc., DeLeon Springs, FL in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, i.e., only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. See Note 22. Pricing for stepladder quantities of 7,500, 9,000 and 11,000 units will be requested. Delivery of the refurbished sonobuoys shall commence within 4 weeks after date of contract award and to complete within 1 year after date of award. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane website at www.crane.navy.mil; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 22 April 2003. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
