- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition a five-year basic, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract with Brandes Associates, Inc. (BAI), 1417 Crestline Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. This requirement is to provide technical services in support of the Naval Mission Planning Systems (NavMPS) including the Tactical Automated Mission Planning System (TAMPS) and the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). The required services will provide technical support for software maintenance activities to sustain the fielded TAMPS product through JMPS product release; JMPS program management support; system engineering in support of the current JMPS development and JMPS upgrades; requirements analysis; Unique Planning Component integration, and software maintenance activities to sustain fielded JMPS products and upgrades. BAI's corporate knowledge and unique expertise is based on their technical support in the successful development of TAMPS and NavMPS since the inception of the programs. BAI has performed a wide range of critical tasks for NavMPS, including requirements management, risk management, defect management, integration and test. Solicitation to be released O/A 28 April 2003 and closing 30 days thereafter. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm, other than Brandes Associates, Inc. should respond in accordance with Numbered Note 22. Numbered Note 26 also applies.
