Description

Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, materials and supplies to perform the following work: surfacing approximately 10 miles of road with Government-furnished pit run and Contractor-furnished geotextile material, cleaning cattleguards and installation of five 18" culverts, replacement of two existing 4' diameter culverts with two Government-furnished open bottom arches, replacement of top row of bridge curbing timbers and running surface planks on a bridge. Work is located in Custer County, Idaho. Price range is $250,000 to $500,000. Period of performance is 135 calendar days after date of Notice to Proceed; however the large culverts must be completed no later than August 1, 2003. This project is open to all responsive, responsible sources. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizops.gov. Contractors will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their offter at the place designated for receipt of offers for a public bid opening. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about April 22, 2003. Contractors are stongly encouraged to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov. This registration is necessary to receive notification of amendments, contract award and will facilitate payment.
