- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number AAQ030009 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2001-12. FAR 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside is applicable to this acquisition. The NAICS code is 212321. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for approximately 5,175 tons of ABC gravel IAW Maricopa Association of Government (MAG) Uniform Standard Specs, Section 702, to be delivered to Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground near Gila Bend, Arizona on/about the week of April 21, 2003. Price quoted to include delivery charges and taxes, if applicable. Copy of MAG Specs available upon request. This RFQ incorporates the following provisions and clauses. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions of Offerors-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items amended as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: a) Ability of offered item to meet Government requirement and specifications; b) availability; c) price; d) past performance FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. INCLUDE COMPLETED COPY WITH QUOTE FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items FAR 52.204-6 Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number 9.1510.37 Electronic Funds Transfer Payments (Not on website-copy will be provided upon request) The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Department of the Interior (DOI) are now acquiring goods and services electronically using the Internet. All BLM solicitations and awards for goods and services will be posted on the Department of Interior website @ http://ideasec.nbc.gov/. To take advantage of business opportunities with BLM and DOI, you must register your firm on the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) @ http://www.ccr.gov.
