Description
NA This is NOT an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a Sources Sought Market Survey. The Wiesbaden Contracting Center, Wiesbaden, Germany, is seeking to identify additional sources to provide components and repair parts to supp ort the following SAAB Targetry Systems which are located throughout US Army Europe (USAREUR): Qty 400 Each - Stationary Infantry Targets; Qty 380 Each - Stationary Armor Targets; Qty 25 Each - Moving Armor Targets; and Qty 20 Each - Light Weight Moving T argets Systems. Specification: All components shall be new or rebuilt. When applicable, all items shall be in accordance with DIN, VDE regulations and/or Association numbers. All components and repair parts shall be IAW SAAB technical specifications an d be compatible with standard SAAB type targetry equipment systems. A minimum commercial warranty period of one (1) year shall apply to all components and repair parts. A ten-year guarantee of availability of all components and repair parts for these syst ems. Due to propriety processes, the components and repair parts for these systems have previously been procured on a sole source basis through SAAB Training Systems AB, Hurskvarna, Sweden. They are the only known firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data required to fulfill the requirement. All interested sources are requested to provide a synopsis of 5 pages or less describing how they can successfully fulfill the Government?s requirements. A copy of their complete catalog of parts and co mponents available to support this effort should also be submitted. There is no commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract as a result of this request for information or to pay for the information received. Written information must include the following: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number, electronic mail address; type of parts/components; verification of compatibility with Targetry Systems; type and length of warrantees; product literature a nd published price list (if available). After review of the product information submitted, the Government may contact interested parties to obtain samples for evaluation or additional information.
