- NA A sole source procurement is contemplated with Mallory Engineering Inc., 2779 West Directors Row, Salt Lake City, UT 84104-4514 for non-personal service to provide upgrade services for wireless chamber controllers for six (6) each 300 series munitions clim atic chambers located at Dugway Proving Ground. The new chamber controllers/programmers should be capable of accepting two RTD inputs for chamber temperature: two 4-20mA for chamber relative humidity; refrigeration systems temperature and humidity monitor ing; and alphanumeric and videographic trending display of chamber conditions. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. (C)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, services, and/or equipment required are available from one responsible source and no other t ype of supplies, services, and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. Mallory Engineering, Inc. is the original designer and manufacturer of the climatic chambers. As the original design and developer, they are the only vendor that understands al l areas of the climatic chamber control systems, refrigeration systems, and associated components; and can provide personnel with the technical understanding and abilities to properly upgrade these chambers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; h owever, all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the Government's requirements. If no responses are received, the Government wil l proceed with sole source negotiation with Mallory Engineering, Inc. The solicitation (DABJ19-03-T-0031) will be available on or around 9 April 2003 through the Army?s Single Face to Industry at http://acquisition.army.mil and through the U.S. Army Contra cting Agency ? Dugway Proving Ground site at https://www.dugway.army.mil/10-3_ContractingDivision.htm. Responses are due 23 April 2003, 1600 (MST). In the event neither site is accessible, responses may be faxed at this number (435) 831-2103.
