- Description
- The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all Painting Services at Eielson AFB, Alaska. A generalized description of services required are: application of paints, primers, stains, varnishes and other protective coatings to the interior and exterior of base facilities and to pavements such as roads, runways, and parking lots; wallpaper application; suitable preparatory cleaning including washing, blasting, and scraping; lead-paint abatement; sheetrock repair; caulking and crack filling; mudding and taping; texturing; and application of primers and seal coats. Work shall involve entire buildings or portions of a building, tanks, piping, utilidors, and trailer-mounted apparatus. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price requirements contract for a total of five (5) possible years, base year and four (4) option periods. Actual work requests will be issued on delivery orders based on line item unit prices. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238320 with a size standard of $12 million. This acquisition is restricted 8(a) Competitive only. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program.** The solicitation will be available on or about 30 April 2003.
