- Description
- The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other services necessary to demolish 88 family housing units and construct 96 family housing units at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Work on this project shall include demolishing existing housing units, constructing new family housing units with slab on grade, providing framed construction, external and interior walls, windows, doors, hardware, roofing, fixtures and accessories, air conditioning, plumbing, interior and related landscape work, and other incidental work at Hickam AFB. The performance period for this project is 540 calendar days. A solicitation shall be issued in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of 1988, establishing a test of unrestricted competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236115. The size standard is $28.5M. The magnitude of the construction project is between $10M and $50M. This solicitation will be issued on or about 20 May 2003. Site visit is tentatively scheduled for 17 Jun 2003. The closing date for this solicitation will be 21 Jul 2003. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA THE INTERNET FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT www.eps.gov. AMENDMENTS WILL BE ISSUED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. The solicitation package will include 1 set of drawings of approximately 325 plus sheets with technical provisions of approximately 802 plus pages provided on CD ROM. Telephonic requests will not be honored. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
