- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform all operations in connection with Project FBNV 9240051R1, entitled "Swimming Pool" on Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. The subsequent award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of 330 days from issuance of notice to proceed. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, constructing a swimming pool facility, and bathhouse at 6090, Davis Monthan AFB, AZ. The project includes approximately 20% architectural; 70% civil; 4% electrical; and 6% mechanical. The estimated project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The estimated dimensions for the project are approximately 31,432 gross square feet for the main pool and decks; and approximately 7,888 gross square feet for the bathhouse facility. This solicitation is un-restricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 238990. This project is funded with Non-appropriated Funds. The Request for Proposal will be issued in a commercial format using Past Performance Trade Off evaluation procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. There are experience and qualification requirements for this project that will be outlined in the solicitation documents. The solicitation may be issued electronically on or about 7 May 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on to be announced in the proposal. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents.
