- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Gilmer, Glenville, West Virginia, intends to make a single award for the provision of solid waste collection and disposal services. The contractor will be required to provide the following services: 1) Rental of two 42 yard compactors with hydraulic control unit; 2) Pick up and empty one 42 yard compactor two times per week on Monday and Friday (104 pulls per year); 3) Pick up and empty one 42 yard compactor one time per week on Friday (52 pulls per year); 4) Rental of one 30 yard open top container; 5) Pick up and empty one 30 yard open top container one time per week on Friday (52 pulls a year). The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through twelve months from date of award and one 12 month option period for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 15, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is May 6, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
