Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp located adjacent to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful contractor shall provide services which include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institutional services. Services should be located within a 50 mile radius of the Federal Prison Camp. The contract type is a firm, fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract term shall consist of a base period extending from the date of award through 12 months with four (4) subsequent, 12 month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities for these periods are as follows: Base Year: 175 Inpatient Days, 75 outpatient visits; Option Year 1: 185 Inpatient Days, 85 outpatient visits; Option Year 2: 195 Inpatient Days, 95 outpatient visits; Option Year 3: 205 Inpatient Days, 105 outpatient visits; Option Year 4: 215 Inpatient Days, 115 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 6, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 7, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
