- Description
- The Contractor shall provide emergency and non-emergent ground ambulance service for Kayenta Health Center, Kayenta, Arizona. The Contractor shall provide paramedics and all necessary personnel, pharmaceutical drugs, medical supplies, equipment, vehicles, facilities and other items and expertise necessary for or incidental to providing ambulance services. The Contractor shall be available twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week. The Contractor shall provide ambulance service in accordance with standards set forth by the State of Arizona and accrediting agencies as appropriate. The Contractor shall receive and respond to requests for BLS, ALS, ACLS, NRP, PALS ambulance service and non-emergency inter-facility transports. The Contractor shall have an administrative mechanism for collection of third party resources. It shall be the Contractor?s responsibility to bill all applicable alternate resources including assisting patients to enroll with the appropriate entitlement programs. Kayenta Health Center shall authorized payment for services provided within the terms of this contract only and will not assume financial responsibility for any expansion of services the Contractor may undertake during the term of this contract. The Contractor shall be able to communicate via EMS communication systems and local law enforcement and fire department agencies. An established dispatch station with availability of phone numbers and personnel schedules to be disseminated to appropriate department staff. Anticipated award is for a twelve-month period with two (2) one year option periods.
