- Description
- The Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MRO Software, Inc for software maintenance and support services under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The services to be provided by MRO Software include product enhancements and upgrades, remedial software corrections and patches, toll-free telephone and remote diagnostic support, and an electronic knowledge base. The support is for MRO's "MAXIMO" and "Dynamic Value List" brand name software, and the current software configuration is set forth in the solicitation. The period of performance is 1 May 2003 through 30 April 2004. The acquisition is being conducted under the commercial item procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5.
