- Description
- The proposed acquisition is issued as Design/Build firm-fixed price contract, which is open to both small and large businesses. The NAICS code is 237310. The size standard is $28,500,000. The estimated contract time is 180calendar days. The work consists of procurement, delivery, and installation for 1 (one) 120-foot steel trail bridge on the Tombigbee Ranger District and 2 (two) 40-foot trail bridges on the Homochitto Ranger District of the National Forests in MS. The proposed bridges will be prefabricated steel bridges from STEADFAST BRIDGE COMPANY or equals. This project also includes survey, design, and construction of the footings for the bridges. Cost to the Government is not expected to be the deciding award factor in the selection of a Contractor for this solicitation. The degree of significance of cost as a factor could become greater depending upon the quality of bids for other factors evaluated: Past performance Experience Price The contract time for each project is approximately 180 calendar days. Award may be made separately to more than one Offeror. If offer exceeds $100,000, a 20 percent Bid Bond must be submitted with the offer. If the offer is between $25,001 and $100,000, the successful Offeror must submit a 100 percent Payment Bond and 100 percent Performance Bond to the Contracting Officer before commencement of work. This project is open to both LARGE and SMALL businesses.
