- Description
- This requirement was previously advertised under solicitation DTFH71-03-B-00025 on February 7, 2003. This requirement?s new solicitation number is DTFH71-03-B-00030. Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Silvio O. Conte National & Wildlife Project PLH/RRP-SOC 10(1). The project consists of reconditioning Four Mile Road and Hanshaw Road, and widening narrow areas to 12 Feet. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $300,000 and $700,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about April 7, 2003. Bids will be due on or about May 13, 2003. Bid documents will only be available through the Federal Business Opportunities website at EFLHD Solicitation Synopsis http://ww1/eps.gov/spg/DOT/FHWA/71/postdate_1html. At this time, plan sheets are available on Compact Disk only. To request a copy of the plans for this project, you must email your request to eflhd.contracts@fhwa.dot.gov . Request must include the solicitation number, project name and number; requesting firm and address; a point of contact; and telephone number. All requests for bid documents will be mailed first class. Requests for overnight mailing will not be accepted. ATTENTION: Minority, Womenowned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's ShortTerm Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
