- Description
- This acquisition is set-aside for Indian-owned and controlled concerns in accordance with the BUY INDIAN ACT (25 U.S.C. 47). Work to be performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and supervision to construct approximately 459/LM of 250 mm PVC sewer main; 7/EA manholes; installation of 1/EA Chain Link Fence; construction of one (1) new 5-Acre Cell; rehabilitation of existing lagoon including abandonment of 5/EA manholes; Soil erosion control; and all appurtenances necessary for a complete and operational system. The project is located on the Coeur d? Alene Indian Reservation, Benewah County, Idaho. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is approximately 125 calendar days. The estimated magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Liquidated damages shall apply. THE BUY AMERICAN ACT APPLIES. Indian preference in hiring, suppliers, and subcontractors is required, including meeting respective Tribal ordinances. Solicitation documents will be available approximately April 19, 2003.
