- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) intend to solicit and negotiate a sole-source, performance-based firm-fixed price contract with Mr. Joseph Sirott. PMEL has developed an innovative research-oriented EPIC and Climate Data Portal software for working with specific types of oceanographic data. The proposed contract is to provide enhancements to interoperate with the new community standard OpeNDAP data access and data server protocols. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services to satisfy the agency's requirements. However, any firm that believes it can furnish the services are encouraged to give written notification to the Contract Specialist. The solicitation and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading from the Government Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to register at the site for notification and to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The solicitation will be posted on or about March 19, 2003. All questions regarding this procurement should be addressed to contact points noted. NAICS Code is 541511.
