- Description
- The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain services to complete species-specific written assessment reports on various species located in Region 2 of the USDA, Forest Service. Species are located in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and Kansas. A description of the Species Conservation Project and overview of species assessments can be found at http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/scp/. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation and incidentals to complete the reports in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Services include completion of a written report describing the biology, ecology and status of Emphasis Species in order to help determine effects of management on species viability in the Rocky Mountain Region. The reports shall be based on the current state of science available. The procurement is available for full and open competition. Multiple awards are anticipated. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to fedbizops.gov for download from this web site exclusively. Approximate issue date of the solicitation is February 25, 2003.
