- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking concerns having the ability to provide Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area (County(s): Kent, Clinton, Kalamazoo). Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment to include furnishing subsistance and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the BOP Statement of Works (SOW), Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) dated November 2001 and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) dated November 16, 1999. A firm-fixed price requirement type contract is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for CSC services (line item #1) are 36,550 inmate day for the two year base and 18,250 inmate days for option year one, 18,615 for option year two and 18,980 for option year three. The estimated number of inmates for TDAT services (line item #2) is 2 per year, based on 30 minute sessions. Estimated number of inmates for TDAT services for the two year base year is 4, # intake assessments = 4, individual units 48, total units 96; group units 144, total units 288; Estimated number of inmates for TDAT services for option years one, two, and three respectively is 2, # intake assessments = 2, individual units 24, total units 48; group units 72, total units 144. The RFP issue date is on or about 4/14/02 and the estimated closing date is 6/15/02. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloaded instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No fax, telephonic, or written requests will be accepted for this solicitation.
