- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ANNOUNCEMENT. This announcement serves as notice to all potential offerors that the Electronic Systems Center in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors Directorate, Electromagnetics Technology Division, Hanscom AFB Massachusetts anticipates release of Request for Proposal (RFP) F19628-03-R-0027 for the Research & Development on Multifunction Electro-Optical Photonics on or about 05/01/03. This action was previously announced in a Sources Sought synopsis published in FedBizOpps on 01/29/03. The solicitation will be made available on the Internet at the Hanscom Electronic Request for Proposal Bulletin Board (HERBB) Website: http://herbb.hanscom.af.mil/rfp.asp and by selecting the link "Multifunction Electro-Optical Photonics". Offerors will be provided a minimum of 30 days to respond to the solicitation. The Request For Proposal will be released on or about 1 May 2003 via electronic method. This acquisition will follow the competitive procedures of FAR Part 15, associated supplements and utilize full and open competition procedures. The Government will request that offeror's proposals remain effective for 120 days following receipt by the Government. This announcement is not a RFP nor should it be construed as a commitment by the Government. See Note 26.
