- Description
- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Offers for the Construction of Repairs and Moderization of HVAC ducts and other HVAC equipment. The order of magnitude for the procurement is (e) Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 227 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 235110 and $12.0 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 21 April 2003 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 21 May 2003. The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the RFO. Drawings will be available from OP-ES, Kennedy Space Center, FL; (321)867-0299. All QUALIFIED sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement [with the exception of the specifications and drawings] will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
