- Description
- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following items: (1) Ansoft Designer (includes System Simulation, Circuit Simulation, Planar 3D Electromagnetic Simulation, Integrated Schematic & Layout Capability, DXF and GDSII Importing, and Optimetrics). Floating license. Maintenance through 07/31/03. (2) Same description as item (1), except for the maintenance period of 08/01/03 through 07/31/04. (3) HFSS (includes 3D Modeling, 3D Meshing, Full-Wave Finite Element Analysis, 3D Post-Processing/Field Visualization). Floating license. Maintenance period: 05/01/03 - 04/30/04. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Ansoft Corporation. They are the developer of this product and the only provider of these items. The Authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on April 16, 2003. Interested parties need to address their ability to fill the line items listed above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
