- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a small purchase order, on a sole source basis, to Vision Systems International (VSI) for the procurement of five (5) Upper Helmet-Vehicle Interface (HVI) cables, part numbers 620410-04-02 (extra large), 620410-06-02 (large), and 620410-08-02 (medium). This effort is in support of Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) integration testing in the F/A-18 series aircraft. VSI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the JHMCS and the only known firm that possesses the required technical data and expertise necessary to meet the Governments needs in the required timeframe. See numbered note 22.
