Description

NA Request For Information (RFI): This is a market survey and RFI. The US Army Medical Command is seeking interested vendors for a regional and future national contract for regulated medical waste (RMW) disposal. The work shall include providing required p ackaging, record keeping, labor, and transportation from medical treatment facilities to approved treatment facilities and disposal of the treated medical waste in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The contractor shall po ssess all applicable registrations, licenses, and permits for regulated medical waste transportation and disposal. The regional contract will include Army facilities located in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Kans as, Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana. Please contact the contract specialist for the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for details on workload. The NAICS is 56221. The specific information b eing sought is business size, business capabilities (necessary to transport and dispose of medical waste), and possession of applicable registrations, licenses, and permits. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this request, and any follow on requests. Currently there is no solicitation.
