- NA MODIFICATION (4/1/2003): This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS (3/31/2003) Description of Work: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract for Modifications to the Conference Center at Blue March Lake, 1268 Palisades Drive, Leesport, Pen nsylvania 19533, to include removal of walls, installation of flooring, ADA accessible restrooms and associated plumbing, electrical and lighting work. This contract will be awarded using the Contracting Methods as described in Part 12 Acquisition of Comm ercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Request for Proposal Number (RFQ) DACW61-03-Q-0041 will be available on the Internet Web pages on or about 8 April 2003. Hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. Contractors shall download this RFQ (including drawings) and all amendments from the Internet web page at the following address https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after the issue date of the RFQ. The official media of distribution for the RF Q is the Internet Web Page. All amendments to this RFQ will be posted to the Internet web page at the above address. Hard copies will not be furnished. It is the contractor?s responsibility to monitor the web page for any amendments. Interested contrac tors must register on the Internet Web page. If any of the contractor?s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet Web Page. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause for delay in receiving notification of the RFQ and Amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. Proposals will be due on or about 22 April 2003. NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $2 8.5. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside. Alternate Payment Protection is required in accordance with FAR 28.102.1(b)(1). All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD?s Central Contract Register before award as required by DFAR S 204.7300.
