Description

(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation shall serve as a Request for Quotation, numbered F3MXSQ30630001, which seeks quotations based on the information contained in this synopsis. (iii)This solicitation and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97 11. (iv) This RFQ contains eight packaged line items. Item0001. 1-1/2-hp Three Person Allegro Ambient Air Pump with OBAC Fittings, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item0002 Replacement Intake Filter for Portable One-Person Allegro Ambient Air Pump, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item0003 Service Kit for 1-person Allegro Ambient Air Pump, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item0004 Service Kit for 3-person and Air Driven Allegro Ambient Air Pump, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item0005 Service Kit for 2-person Allegro Ambient Air Pump, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item0006 Replacement Intake Filter, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item0007 Replacement Exhaust Filter, or equal, Quantity: 2; Item 0008 Inlet Hose Kit, 50?L, or equal, Quantity: 2. (v) The Contractor shall complete the delivery of supplies within 30 calendar days after receipt of order. FOB point is POE (Travis AB, CA 94535-2941(Air Freight) or Tracey, CA 95376 (Vessel)) or DEST (Yokota AB APO AP 96328 (VIA U.S. Postal Service) or Yokota AB, Fussa-shi, Tokyo 197-0001, Japan (VIA Commercial Carrier)) (Shipping charge must be included in product cost for Dest or POE) or FOB Origin or Yokota AB, Fussa-shi Tokyo 197-0001 (VIA Commercial Carrier), Travis AB, CA 94535-2941 (Air Freight) or Tracy, CA 95376 (Vessel)). Shipping charge must be provided for FOB Origin. (vi) PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES . The following FAR provisions/clauses are applicable to this solicitation: 52.212 1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial, 52.212 2, Evaluation Commercial Items, for the purpose of this clause, the blank(s) are completed as follows, (1) price and (2) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement to include specifications of all "equal" items offered. 52.212 4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; 52.212 5 (Deviation), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. (vii) REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of provisions of FAR 52.212 3, Offerors Representation and Certification Commercial Items. (viii) SCHEDULE Offers are due on or before 7 April 2003,1200 p.m., Japan Standard Time.
