(008) 1 ea MMTL-3600-24: Modem management technology license for 3600/3700. (009) 1 ea CON-SNT-PKG12: CISCO - SERVICES(ESD) CON-SNT-PKG12 MAINTENANCE 1YR NBD 8X5 SMARTNET CAT 12(ESD). (016) 1 ea CON-SAS-CSACS-3.X: SAS SVC., Cisco Secure Access Control Server. (017) 1 ea Installation & Training. To include xxx is proposing implementing a remote access solution. Xxx?s solution is to provide the design, implementation, and customer training for the solution. xxx activities will be scheduled during normal business hours except as noted below. Specific responsibilities are detailed below. (Responsibilities) The success of this project requires timely performance of responsibilities assumed by xxx. The following table describes each project task. The format for each project responsibility is: (Discovery and Documentation) (a) Network Discovery and Documentation: Provide current network documentation as required to perform the design and implementation tasks. (Design Tasks) (b) High-Level Design: Diagramming (Visio) of the environment to aid understanding of the proposed environment, to correctly specify equipment, to correctly connect equipment during implementation, and to provide a basis for operational documentation. -Assess existing architecture -Document LAN and WAN topology, technologies, and interconnections appropriate for the customer?s environment and objectives. (c) PSTN Access: Gather technical and business requirements for the T1 PRI connection, and determine appropriate implementation parameters for the solution, including: -Carrier information -Circuit parameters. (d) Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA): Gather technical and business requirements for AAA, and determine appropriate implementation parameters for the solution, including: -Remote access client parameters -Network device parameters -AAA Server parameters. (e) Network Addressing and Routing: Determine appropriate addressing and routing for IP protocol only. -Network address assignment (IP only) for Cisco 3745 and remote access clients -Routing parameters for network devices (IP only). (f) Device Management Parameters: Documentation of implementation parameters to meet customer management needs within the planned management environment for the Cisco 3745 and Cisco Secure ACS product. -Assessment of customer management requirements per device. -Specification of management parameters, including usernames/passwords, AAA, SNMP, syslog, NTP, DNS, naming conventions. (g) Device Software Evaluation: Specification of appropriate device operating software for the customer?s environment. Includes Cisco 3745 and Cisco Secure ACS products. -Assessment of software features and caveats against customer requirements and practical experience. (h) Environmental Planning: Identification of environmental needs and assessment of existing environment. -Document vendor and customer requirements for power, power redundancy, equipment mounting, ventilation, premises cabling. (i) Acceptance Test Plan: Development of testing procedures that will verify the significant aspects of the end-to-end solution. -Infrastructure/component test plan -Application test plan. (Implementation Tasks) (j) Equipment Staging and Verification: Verification of hardware operation and software functionality (to the extent practical) prior to implementation in the production environment. Some or all of the staging effort may be off-site. -Hardware power-on, self-diagnostic, and burn-in. -Hardware module installation and verification: software, memory, and accessories. -Software pre-configuration. (k) Hardware Installation ? Cisco 3745 Router: The physical placement and attachment of equipment at customer-determined locations and within the requirements of the design. -Installation of mounting kits on equipment. -Rack mounting or placement of equipment. -Installation of patch cables to equipment. (l) Device Configuration ? Cisco 3745 Router: Software installation, programming or configuration to operate within the new environment as determined in the previous design tasks. (m) Hardware Installation ? Cisco Secure ACS Server: The physical placement and attachment of equipment at customer-determined locations and within the requirements of the design. -Installation of mounting kits on equipment. -Rack mounting or placement of equipment. -Installation of patch cables to equipment. (n) Device Configuration ? Cisco Secure ACS: Software installation, programming or configuration to operate within the new environment as determined in the previous design tasks. (o) Premises Cabling: Implementation of cabling between components not performed by patch cabling. Typically hidden cabling or permanent cabling custom-made for the building. (p) Infrastructure Testing and Acceptance Testing: -Testing of individual components and connections and performance of the Acceptance Test Plan. (Documentation and Training) (q) As-Built Documentation: Compilation of the design and implementation documents for tasks performed by xxx. The deliverables will provide a basis for ongoing operational documentation. Delivered in electronic format. -Documents specified in the previous Design and Implementation tasks, including as applicable: diagrams, surveys, implementation parameters, configurations, addressing and naming schemes, etc. (r) Staff Training / Knowledge Transfer: Explanation and demonstration of implemented functionality. -Includes up to 16 hours of cross-training during implementation. Assumptions: * All customer provided equipment, cables, connectors, fiber etc. are the responsibility of the customer to verify that they are in working order. * Any change to the Scope of Work will require a Change Order. ***ALL BIDS MUST BE IN BY 3 PM MOUNTAIN TIME 11 APR 03. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
