- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 561720 and the size standard is $14,000,000. Solicitation/Purchase Request number FUGPL930620100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12 effective 29 Jan 2003. The Government intends to award five contract line item numbers (CLIN) CLIN 0001, Base Year (1 May 03 to 30 Apr 04) for cleaning and custodial services at the Ipswich Test Site (1 cleaning per week, in accordance with the Statement of Work, see attachment 1 (7 pages); CLIN 0002, First Option Period (1 May 04 to 30 Apr 05); CLIN 0003, Second Option Period (1 May 05 to 30 Apr 06); CLIN 0004, Third Option Period (1 May 06 to 30 Apr 07); and CLIN 0005, Fourth Option Period (1 May 07 to 30 Apr 08). A site visit will be conducted if there is interest. All interested parties should call Laura Jacques at (781) 377-6648, not later than 5 Apr 03 to schedule a site visit. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-2, Evaluation-Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, considering technical acceptability, past performance and price. Offerors are required to submit three recent references for evaluation of past performance of same or similar services.
