- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements with firm fixed unit prices contract. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option are as follows: Base Year - 375 inpatient days and 355 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 375 inpatient days and 355 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 412 inpatient days and 390 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 563 inpatient days and 532 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 750 inpatient days and 710 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 1, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about June 18, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
